this is a video on how to make a low pass filter, and to show you the one that i made. a low pass filter is basically 1/2 of a bass amp. one part cuts out all the high and mid freq. and lets the low bass go threw to part 2, the amp. the amp increases the bass output. and that's how it works. i am going to eventually take a pare of old computer speakers and rip the guts out of it and use it as an amp for my sub. things to make: -large inducer coil -wire -wire cutter and stripper -one way switch -two way switch (optional, but on myn) -connectors

I made a video to show how to replace the camrys back speaker covers. The dealership wanted 200 dollars to do this job. Luckily my mom wasn't dumb and let me take care of her problem. Speaker covers can be purchased from many reliable ebay sellers, online stores,and even at your local Toyota dealership store for about 25 dollars. I have found that sometimes the speakers will come loose over time and not be seated flush. This is just to test the amount of rattle coming from the subwoofer. At half volume, there was very little amount of rattle. Above 60%, there is significant rattle. Audio Track: THX Woofer Cooker (check on my channel for that video) Test #1: 75% Volume, 100% Bass Test #2: 80% Volume, 100% Bass CAUTION: I did a test with 100% volume and 100% bass and the rubber surround on the subwoofer got very warm after 15 seconds. Leave the speakers alone for a half hour and use them normally again You will not hear the rattle if you are watching this video with speakers.

I simply cannot express how amazing it is to be completely immersed in this album. For me, It's like hearing it for the first time, times ten. Mastering engineer, Alan Parsons took full advantage of the Quad format, by ping-ponging sound effects, and the crazed laughter around you. On 'Us and Them', the echos circle around you, rotating the sound field each verse. If you have the proper equipment, and the source material, I urge you to experience it for yourself. I recommend experiencing this with four full range speakers and a Quad receiver, but any DTS capable home theater receiver will also do the job. Even with bookshelf/satellite speakers and a subwoofer. This unreleased (at the time) Alan Parsons Quad mix has been available since 2006, via a pirated copy supposedly made from the master tapes. As of September 27 2011, you can legally acquire this Quad mix in DTS form via; "The Dark Side Of The Moon - Immersion Box Set" on disc 3 www.amazon.com . I'm not sure if it's 4.1 (for people who do not have full range speakers, and rely on a sub for handling bass). Equipment used in video: Kenwood KR-8340 Quadraphonic receiver Four Sansui AS-200 3-way acoustic suspension speakers Audio is fed to the receiver using an HP desktop, using the front/rear outputs of the 5.1 soundcard. Asus laptop is used to control the HP Computer, and serve as a monitor, keyboard and mouse, via windows remote desktop. Sony Vegas Pro 10, is what I used so that you can see the front/rear waveforms ...

Install a Kicker ZX400.1 True Class D Mono Block Amp in a 2006 Ford F-150 King Ranch . We sold sold the customer a better subwoofer Kicker CVR 10" (dual 4 ohm) ( then what he had DB DRIVE :/ 10" ) and the amp he had was'nt doing it (DB Drive 2 channel haha :^{ ) . It was cutting off at higher volumes and would turn back on after turing it down . The shop that installed the wiring did a BAD BAD job of installing all the wiring ( I go over everything bad on the wiring install )!! UPDATE ON THIS INSTALL customer BLOW Kicker CVR 10" I fully credited him on CVR and paid alil more for CVX 10" ( dual 4 ohm) LOL HELL YA !!!!! That subwoofer (Kicker CVX) is meant for smaller sub boxes ;D and sound better to because of the venting is'nt thou the rear of magnet !!!! Also custom came back for the PLANET AUDIO TWEETER and a 1 Farad Capacitor RAPTOR . Always tested and mesured with only FLUKE TOOLS !!! I replaced the deteriorating foam surround on a 1990 model 152WR Cerwin Vega Subwoofer. The actual time spent was probably close to 40 minutes, mostly cleaning the old surround off. Then there was about an hour wait every time glue was applied and allowed to cure.

The New QSC K Series Power Speakers

These sounded pretty darn good. The K12 top cabs very darn impressive for a 12 inch speakers. The K Sub wasn't too bad, but it seemed to lack the volume and low end of the HPR 18" sub. An introduction to crossovers. I mention crossovers to new DJs and find out that they don't know much about them. This video is basic information, does not apply to those who use "active" or powered speakers. My setups are based on SR not PA, so this information may not apply to your setups. Know the difference between Active and Passive speakers. I am not a big fan of powered speakers, but if you use powered speakers (full range) - you still need a subwoofer for deep bass. If you daisy chain your speakers, make sure they have built in crossovers and know that you are forcing your amp, in this case you need to go with 4 ohms. Maybe one of the two DJ Tutors can explain this in more detail. In the meantime, make sure you read the manual that came with your Amps and Speakers. PA System = Public Address: For speeches, prerecorded music, messages, general sound, vocal announcements, vocal amplification, application is mostly in-doors, small venues. SR System = Sound Reinforcement System: Professional audio, live music, concert, indoor and outdoor use, stadium sound, reproduction of prerecorded audio at higher levels. Large venues. 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo on 26's - I installed 6 Zenas Audio 8's on a Kicker 650. Built the sub boxes for four Zenas Audio 15's, powered by a Zenas Audio 4000. Zenas Audio is here in Brevard County, Florida(He builds his own speakers and amps) I also installed 3 Optima batteries along with a high output Mechman Alternator. I did not build the fiberglass mid-range enclosures. Installed at Flossin Creations in Merritt Island, Florida by me Franxx

***Tremendous BASS 119*** More port destruction! This time i wanted to see if i could scramble some eggs, but i didnt want it all over my box, batteries and paint. So i went to the store and purchased some "ziploc" containers. I wasnt sure if i could trust them so i did a test run with packing peanuts first, just to see what would happen. After that, i determined that i would have to tape them shut. I tried both cracked and uncracked and both had the same result. Quick Liquification. I know it might look easy, but it does take a tremendous amount of pressure to do this. Try it!Thanks for watching and if you subscribed, THANKS AGAIN!
